I guess there was no security film on the store's glass windows!!
Retailers...it is very easy for you all to simply fall back on your theft prevention updates and feel that because nothing as such happens to your store (touch wood not to ever happen) to feel like your retail community is "immuned" to such unfortunate happenings! The bad news is that U-R-NOT!
At this time of the year and before Thanksgiving, our Clients call in their security professionals and contact an update security review of their store as well as beef-up to twice a week their 15 minutes security and theft prevention meetings.
