Christmas Series: Our Tips to Jewelers, Sept 2012 For starters, definitely Jewelers DON"T BE shy to show off your store exterior and interior! Your target customers are normal human people that often WILL remember the photo of your store exterior or interior and not even remember the name of your store! First Tip: Store marketing preparation. End of October a jewelry store to be prepared for the holidays lightly, creating a soft Christmas theme. Most definitely, jewelers must post photos of their decorated store exterior/interior on their website’s home page, Facebook page and other on line media; as a matter of fact, we urge Jewelers to use one of these photos as their page’s cover shot. This is one of the best free advertising with unlimited exposure they can ever get! Second Tip: Window presentation A Jewelry store's window is often the instigator for customers to enter a store, so make it to represent who the Jewelry store is all about. For 36” to 48 windows start with 3 tall display presentation. Create a center piece using 4”H platform. Place on it a 14” neck-form showing one of the store’s top ten jewelry necklaces. Place a piece of mistletoe under it. Surround it with matching earrings, bracelet, etc. Place other 2 tall displays at the corners using 2 1/2”H platforms and 10” neck-form showing jewelry of a lower price point! Display throughout small wishing cards with the stores logo. Post it.
